The times when children are allowed to use the pool (10.00-11.30 and 14.00-15.30) are 1.5 hours each, which is unfortunately very limited.

It was our second visit to this hotel and we were once again totally thrilled! Starting with the friendliness of the staff to the helpfulness in every detail. And not to forget the perfect location. - tip top
The only thing that I think is to be criticized is the 47 € per person for the breakfast every day. however, nothing can be done about the breakfast itself.

Location of the hotel and facilities really top! Always friendly staff. Rooms really clean and well equipped.
Arrived at 2.45 pm, but could not enter our room until 5 pm. But on holiday no problem.

Even after 6 weeks, no laundry and no pressing - and butler is not providing any solutions Heat in Duplex rooms is not working very well as there is only one heater at the upper floor: so the upper floor is warm and the ground floor is cold .. and the bathroom is at the groundfloor ! the restaurant, (not the one in the main hall) is not good and not delivering value for money ... food has no taste

Friendliness of staff
Fire alarm indicated building to be evacuated, after panicking and quickly getting a small bag together to evacuate, I looked out the window and did not see anyone evacuating.... I called reception and they told me it was a false alarm.... This should have been phone through to me ! I felt like a fool being the only one in the building evacuating...

Service very poor for such a hotel and food expensive and of bad standard. Lobby felt like airport terminal rather than hotel. Staff seemed tired and unhappy. They need to do much better

The location is very good, close to the main museums of Amsterdam. Staff is very helpfull, specially the consierge, always ready to locate nice restaurants in the area.
The room we stayed was a split level, with bedroom up stairs and main bathroom down stairs. Not very convenient. The room is full of electronic gadgets, but you almost need a manual to get things to work. Curtains open, shades down, ventilation system, lights etc are all on a small panels thru the room. Then my wife flushed the toilet while I was in the shower and I got burned by the hot water. Poor plumbing, no direct water mains to each object.

Hotel restaurant has set menu with little choice although the hotel brasserie is an alternative. The hotel is popular with locals because of the ambience so the lounge area is usually crowded. A dedicated residents lounge would be nice.Overall these are minor whinges and would not prevent another stay

Over the top in every way. Fantastic design, perfect customer service, only stay here if you want to feel like a king and/or queen for your entire visit. The beauty of this modern design in the lobby, spa, and rooms is beyond words.
